Mahindra Scorpio & Scorpio N led this recovery with a 26.63% MoM growth, climbing from 12,195 units in December to 15,442 units in January. The XUV700 also posted a 14.47% MoM increase, selling 8,399 units. Tata’s Safari and Harrier improved slightly, with 11.77% and 13.85% MoM growth, respectively. However, Hyundai Alcazar saw a slight dip of 2.38%, while MG Hector collapsed by 67.30%. Among premium SUVs, Hyundai Tucson saw a remarkable 93.94% MoM rise, but Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Citroen C5 Aircross continued to struggle with stagnant or disappearing sales.
